Did you know?
*Raw, natural honey never expires if stored properly. (Air tight container)
*Our honey may contain small amounts of pollen and wax that make their way to the top of the jar
*Most honey will crystallize eventually if it is truly raw, taste does not change, just a different texture.
*If you would like to crystallize your honey sooner, place it in the fridge for a few days-many prefer the crystallized honey because it can be easier to spread and it is not as messy.
*To get honey back to liquid, place the honey container in some warm water, repeat if necessary.
*Never microwave honey or heat it up to high temperature-it loses many of its natural enzymes.
*FYI-most honey sold in supermarkets contains large amounts of high fructose corn syrup, and/or has been heated to high temperature in order to go through the filtration process. This process takes out the
pollen and other particles out of the honey resulting in it not naturally crystallizing, but unfortunately honey also loses a lot of its healthful enzymes through this process.
