I've been a cat parent for well over three decades, as well as a cat-sitter, rescuer, foster parent & volunteer at various shelters & non-profit animal organizations. Being around & a part of the lives of countless kittens & cats I've experienced many different kitty purr-sonalities, temperaments, vices, quirks, even disabilities. Some felines are very picky, some are very rough, even destructive, some are more laid back, some are hyped-up, while some are not even affected or do not care for catnip -for they're all different just as we humans are!
Over the years I've purchased various cat toys, but I found many were lacking in one way or more, in particular being poorly made. For example: the store-bought teaser wand toys are often flimsy, have potentially unsafe pieces, & easily broken. Thus I created my “Catting Pole” made with a sturdy pole of wood & a longer length of line baited with many feathers, ribbons, pompoms, etc. (& actually the catting-pole I made for my own furkids, including a new generation, has lasted for over 10 years, only rarely needing a bit of repair).

ndmade with love & cat-friendly materials! They are hand-sewn (often double-stitched), with limited use of hot-glue, to ensure extra durability, longevity, & safety. I use a variety of materials in assorted shapes, sizes, some that make noise & some that do not, some with catnip & some without, in order to maximize the toy's appeal to as many cats as possible (each toy takes 1-3 hrs to make)! My own cats have great fun with my cat toy creations & yours should too! :)
