Mode of action:
Absorbed through roots, stems and leaves, demonstrates auxin-like activity, t
he exact mechanism of action of these compounds is not known, but they may inhibit nucleic acid synthesis.
Functions:
NAA is a synthetic plant hormone in the auxin family and is an ingredient in many commercial plant rooting horticultural products, it is a rooting agent and used for the vegetative propagation of plants from stem and leaf cutting. It is also used for plant tissue culture. NAA has been shown to greatly increase cellulose fiber formation in plants.
Preparation of stock Solution:

If you are unsure STOP until you acquire the required knowledge enabling you to proceed safely.
We suggest using HOT or at least WARM water when mixing this product as with any of our other water soluble products.
A mixing Chart will be provided upon request.
No solvent needed, just mix with water.
To prepare a 1 mg/1ml stock solution: Add 100 mg of
NAPHTHALENE ACETIC ACID (NAA-NA)
into a 100 ml volumetric flask or other glass container.
Once completely dissolved, bring to full volume with molecular biology grade water.
Stirring the solution while adding water may be required to keep the material in solution. Store the
stock solution at 2 - 8 °C.
