  • Condition: I have this listed "AS-IS" because the head is detached from the spring, it is not broken, the three interior tabs are intact, the original adhesive just got old. It will be a fairly straight forward repair, you just hold the head upside down and let the spring droop down into the head cavity keeping the feet facing forward (you would want to do a few test fits before committing to adhesive, you have to get the direction of the feet relative to the face correct or it doesn't sit properly), NOTE in my own photos the side views show how I don't have it sitting properly on the spring (you can see in my main 1st photo how the face is turned relative to the feet), I've since positioned it properly and it does sit centered and correctly if you pay attention to position. Not sure about the date, just a guess. Stands about 5" tall. Small chip in the red paint lower part of the front face, other finish wear to the head (small marks/scratches) The head feels ...continued in FULL LISTING.

AS-IS 1960's Danish Modern 5" Hoptimist Bimble Hans Ehrenreich Denmark Vtg MCM
---  I have this listed "AS-IS" because the head is detached from the spring, it is not broken, the three interior tabs are intact, the original adhesive just got old. Small chip in the red paint lower part of the front face, other finish wear to the head (small marks/scratches)  The head feels like it is plastic, on the inside I can see a seam where it appears it is assembled in sections.  Some paint loss on the spring, there is also some rust visible on the spring, on the inside bottom center weight and on the bottom of the foot that is missing the felt.  Bottom of the base has the original maker tag (a little peeled or creased on one end), base also has some paint wear with paint chips etc.  When the head is positioned on the spring it has quite a funny bouncy action (can be pushed down to one side and it will bounce up and down going a little side to side too).
