    PLEASE NOTE:
    The bolt of this lock protrudes 1/4 in. from the housing and features a bolt throw of an additional 1/4 in. The bolt to this lock measures 1/2 in. in length when fully extended, but it does not retract completely into the housing with a travel distance of 1/4 in. The key to this mail box lock can only be removed when in the locked position.
