It provides the four essential fatty acids beneficial to the skin: LA, GLA, LNA and SDA. (One of the highest EFA contents at 76%!) Hemp seed oil may be used in body care, soaps, facial creams, lotions and sunscreens to impart moisturization, particularly for dry, damaged skin (i.e. eczema, psoriasis and mastaligia).
Hemp seed oil is also one of the "driest" natural oils available, being absorbed quickly into the skin. It provides high fluidity and excellent lubricity without being greasy.
Hemp seed butter is hydrogenated cold pressed hemp seed oil.
Recommended Usage:

Lotions & Creams: 3 – 5 %

Bar Soaps: 3 – 6 %

Hair Conditioners: 2 – 5 %
Use Hemp Butter in creams, lotions, soaps, lip balms and other formulations for dry, damaged or irritated skin. Hemp Seed Butter is deep green in color and similar in feel to Shea Butter, and it has a mild, characteristic aroma. It absorbs quickly into the skin and does not leave a greasy feel. The recommended usage rate for Hemp Seed Butter is 5-10% in most formulations but it can also be used pure for lip or body balm. Natural tocopherols are added at 300 ppm to delay oxidation.
